University Blvd. Centennial, CO. 80122 Who: Senator Linda Newell DENVER?- Thousands of small business owners are at an increased risk of civil rights challenges and potential discrimination claims and probably don't even know it. Senator Linda Newell (D ?- Littleton) has partnered with human resources professionals and employment law professionals across Colorado to help small businesses protect themselves. ?"Small businesses in Colorado often do not have the time or resources to stay on top of employment laws,?" said Sen. Newell. ?"These trainings are an opportunity for business owners to get the information they need to protect themselves and to keep their businesses strong.?" Without human resources departments or employment law attorneys, business owners are on their own to know the most recent laws that affect them. For a short time, free trainings are being offered to educate small business owners on best hiring practices and important equal employment opportunity information so they can prevent unnecessary claims, reduce employee turnover costs, and focus on business operations instead. For more information or to reserve a space, small businesses should visit www.Linda4Senate.com. Registration and information is provided under the ?"Employment Law Crash Course for Colorado?'s Small Businesses?" link. Space is limited. Reserve your spot now!

John spoke on Feb. 25th and he was GREAT so he is speaking again!!! John will be presenting on: 1. Is ?"Selling?" slowing down the growth of your business? 2. Do you enjoy being sold things? Or would you rather buy? 3. What would make you buy from someone? 4. Is it really their sales techniques? Today's discussion is about how you can grow your business and make more money by developing relationships with your clients and potential clients rather than ?"selling?" them on what you have to offer. It seems counter to popular thinking that we don?'t need to sell someone on our product but the truth is that none of us like to be ?"sold?", but we all love to ?"buy?". John has started or helped start more than a dozen businesses in Denver and around the globe. He is a ?"serial entrepreneur.?" He has helped business professionals in the Philippines, China, India, Egypt and other locations start their businesses and grow them into a successful venture. John?'s passion is to help others be successful in both business and in life. Please only RSVP with a yes. Thank you

Classic Marketing with a Modern Edge A new business owner recently told me they felt overwhelmed by the marketing and promotional offers being thrown at her for her new business. Start up or established, marketing can be a huge challenge (and expense) for the entrepreneur. This one-hour class is designed to give the entrepreneur 5 basic steps that are low cost, high touch, and high return that everyone can implement. The ideas include philosophies, concepts, and online resources I've discovered after 10 years as an entrepreneur. Whatever your business, if you are looking to take the driver's seat and chart the course for your business (and how you relate to existing clients and find new clients), then this class is for you.
Lisa Grunden will present on: Your Limitless Potential, Overcoming ?"The Big Buts?" In Your Life Do you have a goal, a vision, a hope a dream? Do you think that it will never happen for you? Or, maybe it can happen if the stars line up; you get the promotion, and whatever else? What would happen if you could shift your focus slightly, a tiny, miniscule degree of focused change to the left or the right of where you are looking now. Did you know that the space shuttle is only on course 3% of the time on a journey of thousands of miles? How could this transform your life? Lisa Grunden is an Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Specialist, Life Changing Coach, and Professional Speaker. She incorporates EFT, Energy Medicine, Laughter, Visualization as well as many other tools and techniques to uncover your limited belief system, ?"The Big Buts?" in your life that rear up and prevent you from attaining your goals. Lisa works with individuals and groups to help them identify the anxieties, fears, traumas, trepidations and blocks within their personal and professional life. She specializes in weight loss, overcoming fear of public speaking, increased performance in the sports arena, and the other Big Buts that interfere with your life. Please only RSVP with a Yes. The Town of Littleton was founded in 1715 and is located in the Middlesex County area on the outer edge of suburban Boston.
During the 19th century the Standard Vinegar Company moved to the town and for the first time the production of apple juice surpassed vinegar and became the top selling item and the name was changed from the Standard Vinegar Company to Very Fine Products. Still today the primary production facility remains in its home town of Littleton Massachusetts.
Recreational activities in the community include kick boxing along with skating and hockey as well as skiing and snowboarding.
